28,000 Students To Be Convocated at Federal Poly Bida

No less than 28 ,000 students of the  Federal Polytechnic Bida in Niger State  between  2008-2015 will be graduating at the  joint 14th convocation ceremony slated for Saturday, April 2 at the institution’s convocation square, Bida .

In a  statement signed by the institution’s public relation officer (PRO), Alhaji Hussaini Enagi and made available to newsmen on friday, it  stated that  the polytechnic would be graduating 8 sets of students who graduated within the period.

“The polytechnic  had not held it convocation for 8 sets of students who graduated from the school since 2008 to date It is on this note that the new rector, Dr Abubakar Dzukogi deemed it fit to combine graduates of the institution from 2008 to date for the convocation.”

The institution’s spokesman  stated that a series of activities have been slated to mark the occasion which include a pre-convocation lecture on “Managing Tertiary Institutions in a Depressed Economy” to be delivered by Prof. Ibrahim Kolo, former vice chancellor, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU) Lapai, on Friday, April 1.
