MAPOLY Students Experienced Cliqfest as Reminisce and Lil-kesh Performed

It is a great experience for the students of Mosshod Abiola Polytechnic, Ojere, Ogun state when the Nigeria’s youth centric communication brand  Etisalat took the Cliqfest to the institution. An event whereby education and entertainment is being brought together and rolled into one.

Baba Hafusa, the rap act; Reminisce, and Shoki crooner, Lil Kesh, whose all songs performed was hit after hits from their chart topping albums. Reminisce who was making a return to his home state, thrilled them with songs such as “Local Rappers”, “Tesojue”, “Daddy” and “Kako Bii Chicken” among others.CLIQFEST PIC 6

The students went ecstatic as Lil Kesh came on stage in thrilling performances of his songs such as “Shoki”  “Is It Because I Love You”  “Efejoku”, “Gbese” and “Lyrically” which got the students swaying their bodies and singing alongside. Nigerian Idol 4 winner; Evelle also performed some of her songs such as “Kilimanjaro” and “I’m Naughty”

The two-day event culminated in the emergence of Ogundeyi  Ayobami, a HND1 student of Accounting as the winner of the star prize, a Hyundai i10 Car through a raffle draw. An elated Ayobami was full of praises to Etisalat for giving him the opportunity to experience Cliqfest.  “I never believed that I will win the car today and I am still pinching myself to make sure it’s not a dream,” he said.

There was a motivational seminar anchored by life coach, Niyi Adesanya, a novelty football tournament, dance competitions, open mic/ rap battles among the students and rappers from MAPOLY such as Pappy-Jay, Tonny Pliz, Shakes, Solak, Sirlammz and Dotman who thrilled their fellow students to renditions of their songs.

Through Cliqfest, Etisalat has been to over 70 institutions of higher learning across the country.
