Messrs Felix Edoka, Ernest Odeigah and Dr. Gambo Saleh Adam has been appointed by the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) as Registrar, Bursar and Librarian respectively.
The university’s Director of Media and Publicity, Mr. Ibrahim Sheme who disclosed this in a press release said
their appointment would last five years.
The new registrar who succeeded Mrs. Josephine Akinyemi is a member of American Society of Public Administrators (ASPA), Association of University Administrators (AUA) and Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), among others.
He has MBA obtained from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State and he is the Deputy Registrar
(Human Resources) of the university until his appointment.
On his own, the new Bursar holds MSc in Finance and MBA from the University of Lagos and the University of Calabar, respectively. He is a fellow Certified National Accountants (CNA) and member of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Chartered Institute of Taxation (CITN), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and so on.
He is acting Bursar of the university before his appointment.
The new Librarian from the National Institute for Legislative Studies, Abuja holds PhD from International Islamic University, Malaysia. He is a member of Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN) and Nigerian Library Association (NLA), among others. And his appointment takes effect from October 2
