We wish to announce that the four students who were brutalized, detained by the Unilag security and later transferred to the Sabo Police station Akoka, Lagos State, have been release!
While we reaffirm that peaceful Demonstration is a basic human right which no man, Government, or University Authority can crush, we maintain our solidarity with the Alliance of Nigerian Students Against Neo-liberal Attacks (ANSA).
We are not cowered by the intimidating tactics of the Nigerian Police Force. The brutalization of the innocent students is an aborted strategy to disarm the movement. There is no RETREAT on the October 1 Million Youth March, until all the rusticated students of AAUA, OAU, and UNILAG are reinstated.
We believe that the few Nigerian youths who still stand for truth and for justice, in spite of this battered period, where many run after those gangs of political parasites who splurge the country’s resources with their international goons, leaving many Nigerians in hunger, in thirst, sickness, abject poverty, and in death, should be awarded not illegally detained by the Nigerian Police Force or rusticated by any University Management!
We thank the social media community for their support. With their shares and tweets, the oppressors are thrown off balance! Once again, there is no RETREAT on the October 1 Million Youth March, until all the rusticated students of AAUA, OAU, and UNILAG are reinstated.
The People United Can Never Be Defeated!!!
