A school, Isale-Oyo Community high school located in Oyo town, Oyo state has been brought down by Some angry Students of the school on Thursday, October 27, over mass failure in their examinations.

According to report, the students arrived the school chanting solidarity songs, before setting fire on some classrooms.

The mass failure was attributed to a new promotion policy by the Oyo State Government which meant only students with 50 per cent in Mathematics and English language will transit to the next class.

Some form of protests were also recorded in various schools in the state over mass failure in their examinations.

Men of the Oyo State Fire service agents were alerted to the school to extinguish the fire.

It was reported that students of Anglican Secondary School, Oyo also destroyed billboards with governor Ajimobi’s photographs.
