This Scholarships will cover full tuition fees and accommodation at International Students House. ISH provides accommodation for a year, while the IOE covers tuition fees. Please note that these scholarships do not cover subsistence in London.
The awards will be applied toward the complete duration of the scholarship
Two (2) awards will be offered to the successful applicants
DEADLINE
Applications for 2017/18 will commence in mid-January 2017. You must submit the scholarship application form online before 18 March 2017.
PLEASE NOTE:
The scholarship panel will look for evidence of outstanding academic and professional achievement, alongside a persuasive account of how your award will help you to improve the circumstances of disadvantaged, excluded or underachiving citizens. Please ensure that you cover these aspects in your application.
International Students House (ISH) is a student residence and a unique social, cultural and recreational centre. ISH aims to improve international understanding and friendship and provides a wide programme of events for students 365 days a year.
Located in the safe neighbourhood of Regent’s Park, ISH is a central place to meet students from Britain and around the world.
CRITERIA
You need to:
Be a resident of a low or lower-middle income country (as defined by the World Bank).
Have an offer to study a full time masters degree at the UCL Institute of Education (October 2017 start).
Not have studied or lived in the UK before.
Please note that online courses are not eligible for these scholarships.
